The Space

Comfortably furnished with the basics in an eclectic style you will find yourself feeling like you're at home while you visit our beautiful city.

A Queen size bed with all linens and complete allergy & bedbug protection is in the master bedroom, as is a large closet and reading nook.

The second bedroom has a double bed with gorgeous headboard handmade from reclaimed wood, as well as full bug and allergy protective covers.

The apartment can sleep up to 6 people in the 2 bedrooms, plus a deluxe futon in the living room.

The main open-concept space features the living area with futon and papasan chairs (great for snuggling up with a book), the dining space and a workspace.

The workspace is perfect for your laptop and other devices, with a powerbar and a special lamp with plugs in the back to make it easier to charge your phone. We even included the usb charging block for you, just bring your cable!

A full kitchen with everything you need to prepare your meals is available; including new appliances, microwave, electric kettle, all dishes & utensils.

Family and LBGTQ+ friendly. NOT a hotel, this is homestyle accommodations!

A special guide will be provided to you upon arrival that includes all important information about the apartment and the area, as well as some fun tips and recommendations for your stay. Our goal is for you to be happy and comfy!

Please note that the building is old (37 years) and somewhat tired-looking in the hallways, etc. However the unit itself is in good shape and we've put a lot of effort in it to make it comfortable for guests. The location also can't be beat, which is why we chose it. There is a/c in the bedrooms and fans for the rest of the space.

Guest Access

Guests will have access to all listed amenities in the apartment. The apartment is private, no one else will be there while it is booked. Coin laundry & ample parking facilities are in the building.

As hosts we are available via phone or email for any issues or questions guests may have. Our self-serve website (available after booking) has loads of recommendations and information that you will find useful during your stay in Toronto.

The Neighbourhood

Experience life as a local by visiting the many unique cafes, food markets, restaurants and quirky boutiques in the area.

Spend a day or two wandering around the bohemian sanctuary of Kensington Market and hunt for treasure in the many eclectic and vintage boutiques. Grab some delicious Chinese dumplings, Vietnamese pho or Korean bulgogi in Chinatown as you make your way down to the Fashion District of Toronto, Queen Street West. Go on a shopping adventure! Get a custom made shirt, a dress from a local designer, or those hot new shoes you've been coveting along the Queen West strip. Finish your night at a great dive bar, or concert venue or dance club or speakeasy... you get the picture!

You can't get much more "Toronto" than this!

Getting Around

The Marigold is located right beside the Spadina subway station (really!) making it super easy to get around on transit, and you can walk to the majority of the cool things in Toronto.

- Kensington Market
- Chinatown/ Art Gallery of Ontario
- Queen St. West Fashion District
- The Annex & Mirvish Village heading West along Bloor

- Toronto Western Hospital, Toronto General Hospital & Sick Kids Hospital

The Annex itself is a wonderful and vibrant area of Toronto boasting an eclectic collection of shops, restaurants, bars, clubs and more. Plus there is a big 24 hour grocery store and pharmacy right across the street. This is one of our favourite neighbourhoods.

To get to the downtown core:
Driving: 6 mins
Transit: 15 mins
Biking: 10 mins
Walking: 38 mins

Uber Taxis are also cheap, plentiful and safe. We recommend using their app when you need a ride somewhere.

Other Things to Note

One parking spot is included with the suite. If you need more parking, there are 2 public lots right on the premises that you can pay to park your other vehicle.

Please note that there is a $150 fee for lost or damaged parking passes.

House Rules

- Profile & ID verification must be complete prior to booking
- No smoking
- No pets
- Please empty all trash during and at the end of your stay
- Please report any existing damages, etc. when you arrive
- Please report any new damages or issues with the apartment as they happen
- Absolutely no parties or shenanigans, we check for this
- If you have children, please make the apartment child-friendly by placing delicate items out of reach to prevent damages or injuries. There are some shelves in the closets that are great for this!
- Please watch your children to avoid injuries/damages! We will not be held responsible for any injuries, but YOU will be held responsible for any damages.
- Keys must be returned to pickup location no later than 11am so the cleaner can get in.
