Cozy, Affordable, Great Location

The cozy, private space is located on the basement floor of a house. Please note that the ceiling clearance is 6'5'' in the space with beams bordering one perimeter which are 6'. It features a private entrance, full kitchen and bathroom. All guests enjoy clean towels and crisp bedding.

Guests have access to sunny back garden, washer and dryer, complimentary bicycles to explore the city, and wireless internet.

The Ossington neighbourhood is one of the best in Toronto. In recent years many of the city's hippest, more popular bars and restaurants have opened along the Ossington strip. It is close enough to downtown to bike or walk (if you enjoy walking) but is also conveniently located on the subway line. It is exceptionally safe and quiet and there is a real sense of community while still being close to great places to eat and go out.

There are 3 fantastic grocery stores within 5-10mins walking distance including a 24hr Sobey's and the famous, independently-owned Fiesta Farms which stocks organic, local produce from farmers across Ontario. It's worth a visit! There is a convenience store 3min walk which sells basic goods and Contra Cafe, which has quickly become a Toronto landmark, is 2mins walk away. They have amazing coffee, sandwiches, breakfast snacks. Everything is local, organic and delicious!

Christie Pitts park is a 10min walk and is a great place to hang out in the summer and play sports or people watch. There's also a free pool for those hot summer days. And a free ice-skating rink in the winter.

Toronto public transit connections are fantastic. The Ossington subway station is a mere 10min walk or alternatively, a bus stops right across the street and takes 3mins to Ossington subway station.

From Ossington station, you can reach Yonge and Bloor in 15-20min, the entertainment district on King and University in 25min and Kipling Station (express bus to Pearson airport) in 20mins.
