My flat is on the border of London´s zone 1, in the heart of the city! It's a quiet place in Walworth, between Camberwell and Elephant & Castle, in the London borough of Southwark, south of the river. Walworth is a cheap-and-cheerful, multi-cultural part of London close to the centre with excellent transport links.
LOCATION
The building is situated on Thurlow Street in Walworth. The property is in close proximity to local shopping and transport facilities, such as East Street Market, Walworth Road, Old Kent Road (big Tesco, Asda, Lidl, Sportsdirect, Homebase) and Elephant & Castle Tube Station.
Only a couple of minutes' walk from the big main street with a Tesco and Morrison's (supermarkets) nearby, as well as a 24-hour Turkish grocery shop which sells lovely fresh produce and a good selection of beer! There are kebab shops, Caribbean food, a nice little pizza restaurant and more, all a short walk away on the main road. There is also a decent sized park nearby if you like jogging.
