THE SPACE
The first thing that strikes you about this modern penthouse is its light, bright ambience, all thanks to floor to ceiling windows that afford you panoramic views of the heart of London.

Although the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street, London’s premier shopping strip, is just a minute away, the penthouse’s Newman Street location makes it seem like a world away.

With honeyed and heated wooden flooring throughout, the penthouse boasts a chic, open-plan living area. A stylish lounge, equipped with widescreen satellite TV, DVD player, music system and a dining table that comfortably seats four, effortlessly flows into a well-equipped, modern fitted kitchen.

There’s no let-up in the luxury in the two bedrooms, both of which are bright, airy and modern with king-size beds. The master bedroom also features an ensuite shower, toilet and bidet, while the main bathroom will afford you amazing views as you lie back in a bath full of bubbles with a glass of champagne.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
The penthouse is not suitable for young children, although if you have a baby, the owners are happy to arrange for a cot to be set up in one of the bedrooms.

The storage area for the second double bedroom is located in a large wardrobe just a short step across the hallway from the room.

THE NEIGHBOURHOOD
You really couldn’t wish for a more central location from which to explore a capital city that’s brimming with things to do and see, eat and drink.

At the southern end of Newman Street, less than a minute from your penthouse, is the capital’s main shopping district - Oxford Street. A short distance beyond is London’s Theatreland and the boutiques, bars, restaurants and street entertainers of Covent Garden.

To the east lies one of the capital’s biggest attractions The British Museum, while north of Newman Street leads to the the plush restaurants of Charlotte Street, the green expanse of Regents Park, and the array of wildlife at London Zoo. Head west and you’ll find the ultimate in chic shopping on Bond Street as well as Oxford Street’s big department stores, including the world-famous Selfridges.

GETTING AROUND
As you’d expect from such a central location, your transport options are many and varied. Tottenham Court Road underground station is just a stone’s throw away, with Oxford Circus less than a 10 minute walk away. Buses to take you pretty much anywhere in the capital run regularly along Oxford Street, some for 24 hours a day. And there’ll be a steady flow of London’s iconic black cabs ready to whisk you off to wherever you want to go.
