Galata is just above the Bosphorus, near Beyoglu, and linked to Sultanahmet by bridge and tram. They're all within a short distance of Istiklal Caddesi, tram stops, the metro and ferry piers. This neighborhood has stood out in Istanbul with its culture and history since the Byzantium & Ottoman age. It offers a quiet, safe ambience, with step away to local markets, including a fresh food market on Sundays, and is 5 minutes from Beyoglu and Istikral street, offering access to art, entertainment, shopping, night clubs, historical old buildings and museums.
