Hello everyone!
We are three friends who decorated this house together recently. All of us will be taking care of you. We all have long travel experiences and know what a traveller needs. So, good local advices will be waiting for you; local knowledge, where to eat and go out, shopping, hidden spots, art scene etc.=)
The place is located in the social centre of Istanbul, Taksim. Only 3 minutes walk away from Istiklal Street where night clubs, restaurants, cafes, bars, art galleries etc. are. Galata Tower, Nevizade and Tunnel area are 5 - 10 minutes walk away but the house is very isolated from the noise of Taksim.
Only 1 minute to the bus station where you can take buses to the old city which takes 10 minutes and metro station is 10 minutes by feet. Neighborhood is traditional and unique in Istanbul with its cosmopolite atmosphere and diversity of locals. Around here, you can have a tea in tea houses, wander around small streets and eat in local places. On sundays there is a flea market just down the street and an open market next to our place where you can buy your vegetables, fruit and other local products.
The house is designed with unique furnitures from the antique shops of our neighborhood. Almost all pieces in the flat is chosen carefully and even some of them are handmade. It is all day sunny and bright. When you enter the house, the first floor is living room with an open kitchen and balcony. Second floor is bedroom with a terrace. You may enjoy the sunrise and the sunset from the terrace while sitting on our comfortable bambu couch and chairs. The balcony on the first floor with two wooden chairs and traditional-stove-converted table is where you can have your morning coffee. The couch in the living room may be turned to a bed for the 3rd person.
