Room also has its own lock where you will also get a key for when requested. A property manager will meet you to give you the key.  You have total access to the entire place including your own bathroom, kitchen and living room with complete privacy for your stay. We are one of the few hosts that are licensed and insured by the City of Chicago. We take hosting very serious.  All of our furniture and bedding are brand new.    Our listing is freshly painted and was just remodeled. It is professionally cleaned so everything is always impeccably clean.  All we ask is that you take care of the place as if it was your own.  We have central air for heating and air conditioning. Pillows and comforters are brand new and sheets are changed every time a new guest arrives.   From our reviews and recommendations, which we strongly suggest you read to get an outsider's perspective, it is clear that the vast majority of our guests appreciate the convenience of our neighborhood to public transportation and appreciate us as hosts.   Our place is located in Wicker Park, one of Chicago’s most popular areas where people come to shop and hang out. From the coolest bars to finest restaurants, its dead center in the middle of everything!  There is a grocery store that has a taco stand inside named Guanajuato, right across the street from our place you can eat fast food or shop to cook at home. There is a post office right down the street if you need to mail something back home.   Guest Access Guests have access to an in unit washer & dryer, an outdoor grill for you to use with an outdoor deck. You also have access to free wireless & TV with a Roku player. Interaction with Guests We will usually be here to check you in personally, if not we will leave you the lock box code with the keys inside.  We interact often with the guests to make sure they are well accommodated.  We also live right next door so we will be there for you every step of the way.  We offer a variety of sightseeing brochures located in the living room for those interested in exploring what our great city has to offer. We will be available and will not disturb you during your stay, we will just make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. The Neighborhood We are located just blocks away from the coolest bars & restaurants and 1 block south from the I-90/94 expressway (North Ave or Division are the exits closest to us). We are in a vibrant part of the city, an area known for its cute boutiques and specialty shops.  We are 15 minutes away from downtown. This location attracts tons of visitors, both Chicago locals and tourists alike.  With the Milwaukee avenue strip a block away, you can experience tons of interesting places right at your doorstep.  Overall we really enjoy this neighborhood because everything is walking distance.  There is a kid and dog park less than a mile away. Public Transportation The Ashland number 9 bus drops you off right at our doorstep and the blue line CTA train is 2 blocks south.  Cabs are easily accessible with a click of a button. Ask about our $20 dollar coupons for free rides on our many ride sharing options here in our city. Divvy bike stands right on the corner of our place. .  Other Things to Note  There are also plenty of places to eat and beauty salons up and down Ashland Avenue. Great location and all street parking is free on Ashland, no meters! (note if you are booked on Sunday or Monday they do street cleaning in the mornings [7am to 9am] so make sure you move your car and read the signs). If you need a permit we can also provide upon request.  HOUSE RULES No smoking in the apartment. Make sure to turn off all the lights and lock all doors when leaving. (We are not responsible for things left behind. No house parties. This listing is reserved for families, couples, and or business people.  We want to continue to provide this listing for the vacation rental community to enjoy it as we do. Please clean up after yourself.  Throw out all trash in the bin in the kitchen. Do not leave garbage in the rooms. After using the dishes, please put it in the dishwasher or wash them after you use them. No loud music or disturbance after 11pm during the week and 1am on the weekends.
