6 - The Attic Loft

The space is an open loft space apartment.  It is completely private and will get a key for your private space. It’s an open floor layout, so there are no rooms except the bathroom.   All furniture is new along with a brand new washroom that includes a Jacuzzi and stand up shower.  In order to enter you will get an access code. We have cameras that monitor your entrance to our listing.  All of our listings are professionally cleaned. We want to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. All furniture is new including pillows and comforters.  We change the sheets every time a new guest arrives.   You must indicated when booking the amount of guests that will come to the listing. There is a $20 dollar per person fee for everyone who comes inside the listing regardless if they sleep over or not.    Guest Access Guests have access to wireless internet, cable TV (all channels).   Complete sound system via Mackie 450 power speaker sound system with auxiliary cord input, along with life size projector screen on the wall.   All sound is controlled with a DJ mixer. Interaction with guest We interact often with our guests to make sure they are well accommodated.  We offer a variety of site seeing brochures for those interested in exploring what our great city has to offer. I will be present most of the time to make sure you are comfortable and have everything they need.   We are always around because we live right next door, so if you need anything just call or text us anytime. THE NEIGHBORHOOD We are located just blocks away from the coolest bars & restaurants and 1 block south from the I-90/94 expressway (North Ave or Division are the exits closest to us). We are in a vibrant part of the city, an area known for its cute boutiques and specialty shops.  We are about 15 minutes away from downtown. This location attracts tons of visitors, both Chicago locals and tourists alike.  With the Milwaukee avenue strip a block away, you can experience tons of interesting places right at your doorstep.  Overall we really enjoy this neighborhood because everything is walking distance.  There is a kid and dog park less than a mile away.   GETTING AROUND The Ashland number 9 bus drops you off literally right at our doorstep and the blue line CTA train is 2 blocks south.  Cabs are easily accessible with a click of a button. We have Divvy bike stands right on the corner of our place. It is a bike rental option Chicago has put together for people to get around if you want to get around on bicycles instead of vehicles.  THINGS TO NOTE Our next door neighbors are Mott Street. A couple of doors down from us is Bryson Milan, a high end luxury boutique. In the same building is Nomobo Salon, a unisex hair salon (you will get 10% off any service you get then when you mention your stay with us). There are also plenty of places to eat and beauty salons up and down Ashland Avenue. Great location and all street parking is free on Ashland, no meters! (note if you are booked on Sunday or Monday they do street cleaning in the mornings [7am to 9am] so make sure you move your car and read the signs). If you need a permit we can also provide upon request. We have guest daily and a cleaning service crew that comes every time we have a new guest so sometimes it is not possible to leave luggage or drop it off early since we do not have storage and don’t want to be responsible for luggage if we have to move it around to clean House Rules We expect guests to be respectful of our space, and each other, and to clean up after themselves. Beyond that, we are very easy going. No smoking in the apartment. Make sure to turn off all the lights and lock all doors when leaving. (We are not responsible for things left behind. No house parties) we want to continue to provide this listing for the vacation rental community to enjoy it as we do. Please clean up after yourself.  No loud music or disturbance after 11pm durning the week and 1am on the weekends. We have other guest staying next door so please be courteous and respectful. When inquiring about the listing, please let us know how many people will be coming in.  Each person is charged per entering our space regardless if they are spending the night or not.  This allows us to maintain our listing and pay for essentials such as electricity, gas, water and  toiletries such as toilet paper soap etc.  Location/Direction FROM THE TRAIN Walking from Division Street Blue Line Head north two blocks and turn right on Blackhawk and go through that back alley FROM OHARE I-90/94 Get off on North Avenue and turn left.  Make a left on Ashland Avenue, left on Blackhawk and enter through that alley FROM MIDWAY Get on I-55 and take that towards Wisconsin to merge on to I-90/94.  Take that north all the way to North Ave and make a left towards Ashland Avenue.  Make a left on Ashland, left on Blackhawk and go through that alley.  You can look for parking anywhere on Ashland; this is one of the only parts of the city where the parking is free so no need to pay any parking meters. *** Room Fees *** Other taxes/fees: USD 20 Other taxes/fees: USD 0.119% of rent Other taxes/fees: USD 0.045% of rent
