This boat provides the ultimate Amsterdam experience. On a walk of about 10 minutes from Central Station you will find this rustic houseboat. The friendly atmosphere in the area almost feels like a village, yet you are in the center of Amsterdam. It is a traditional “Hasselter Aak” from 1913 that has been beautifully renovated keeping the original old beams. The result is astounding. Sleek yet warm and cozy. The houseboat is located in the Old Wood Harbor, near the Westerpark. Here are some cafes with live music and many restaurants. At fifteen minutes walk from the canals of Amsterdam with the possibility of a cruise through the beautiful waters. Another walk this length brings you to the liveliest part of Amsterdam, the Jordan. Famous for its bars, restaurants and entertainment. The spacious houseboat (100 m2) has a large living room with sofa, TV with iPod connection and a beautiful wooden dining table. The great kitchen offers plenty of space to prepare a meal and is equipped with dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave and coffee maker. The large refrigerator and stove give the kitchen a chic look, combined with wooden elements. There are three bedrooms, one with a double bed (180 x 200cm) and one with two single box springs that can be used as either two single beds or a double bed. The 3rd one has a double bed. The bathroom contains a luxurious bathtub and a rain shower. To enjoy the sun, relax on the deck and if it gets too hot, you can jump into the water for a refreshing dip. The focus on the quay on which the houseboat is located, is characterized by a quiet and cozy neighborhood atmosphere. The owner and the neighbors would like to keep it this way. That is why guests are asked to be quiet in the evening after 22:00 and not to come home noisy late at night. If the purpose of the trip is to party and/or use of soft drugs: better NOT to book this property. Since smoking is not permitted inside the boat, nor outside on the quay, please also take into account the neighbors and the environment by not leaving cigarette butts on the pier or in the water: swans and ducks will choke ... It is also commonplace in Amsterdam not to use soft drugs just everywhere. Inside the houseboat you may not smoke but also not outside on the quay.
