Lovely Room near Vondelpark

About my apartment;
The room is in a two- bedroom second floor apartment. Shared area includes fully equipped kitchen, fully equipped bathroom (incl. washing machine, bath towels and hairdryer ) and toilet. Access to unlimited use of wireless internet.

Neighborhood
The neighborhood is safe, lively and friendly.
For your daily grocery, there is a supermarket (and nightshop) accros the street. Within walking distance you'll find a shopping street (Kinkerstraat) with everything you may need. You'll also find a market in this street where the locals buy their fresh fish, meat, vegetables and fruits.

All 'must - do's' like visiting Rembrandtsquare, Museum Quarter, Peter Cornelisz (P.C) Hooftstraat ( "Fifth Avenue of Amsterdam") and Leidsesquare are easily reached by bike or tram (there is a tram and bus stop in front of the apartment). Several nice restaurants available in walking distance.

Within a 10 minutes walk you're at the famous Vondelpark. The Rembrandtpark is behind my apartment.

Getting here couldn't be easier:
From Central station take tram 17 to Postjesweg and you'll stop practically in front of my door. (15 minutes)
From Airport Schiphol take a train to station Lelylaan and change there to tram 17 direction Central station, tram stop Postjesweg is where you need to go out. ( 35 minutes)
If you come by car, you can park in the neighborhood but it isn't for free. There are several Park and Rides where you can park your car for a low fee of €8,- per 24 hours. If you're interested to park your car in a P&R please contact me for further details.

Biking in Amsterdam is a quintessentially Dutch experience and by far the most popular (and most efficient) form of getting around. There is a bike rental in my street where you can rent a bike for 12.50 a day. The more days you rent the cheaper it gets.
