This lovely quiet 1 bedroom suite with separate living, dining, and kitchen areas is located in the heart of San Francisco’s most desirable destination neighborhood, Cole Valley.

Comfortably furnished and immaculately clean, the apartment is housed inside an Edwardian-style building and maintains many of the original features that makes this style so desirable in San Francisco: built-in bookcases, French double doors that separate the living and dining room; Bay Window.

Yet the plumbing and kitchen have been entirely renovated for the greatest living pleasure and ease. The large kitchen has breakfast seating and a private door that leads to the private patio and garden.

Enjoy barbecuing or sitting in the sunny backyard surrounded by roses and the scent of gardenias, humming birds and wild parrots flying overhead. There’s also a lovely view of Twin Peaks. LOCATION DESCRIPTION

Neighborhood: COLE VALLEY The Suite is located on Cole Street, only 2 blocks (1 minute walk) from fashionable shops, bars, and famous restaurants, including a post office, authentic French bakery, grocery store, pharmacy, a boutique gift shop where Martha Stewart herself stopped in to shop, and one of the hottest new ice cream bars in the city.

Stroll a little further and you’ll encounter famous Haight-Ashbury and Golden Gate Park, both tourist stops on any itinerary. Twin Peaks, another major tourist location, is also walking distance. Haight Ashbury offers more choices in trendy new restaurants, bars, and shops, including Whole Foods grocery store.

The apartment is also a five minute walk to UCSF Hospital. Cole Valley is known for its history. Crepes on Cole restaurant was once a comedy bar where Robin Williams and others got their start. The old marquee is still there. Famous writers and musicians have always chosen this neighborhood – and many continue to live here. Craig from Craig’s List is also a local neighbor. PARKING SITUATION

A car is not necessary: easy and convenient public transportation is 2 blocks from the property. If you have a car, you can park on the street for free around the apartment, especially after 5 p.m. when the 2-hour limit ends.

Unlimited parking is available on Rivoli and Alma streets, near Grattan Park, about 3 minute walk away. Or you can use one of the several parking garages located around the unit:

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION & DISTANCES

Easily get to other parts of San Francisco by MUNI (N Judah) or bus lines, both of which are 2 blocks away. Easy access to highways 101 and 280.

Union Square is 3.3 miles away from the property: By car or taxi: 15 min. By public transportation: 10 min. Take the Muni line #N direction Downtown and stop at Powell St.

The Moscone Center is 3.4 miles away from the property: By car or taxi: 14 min. By public transportation: 10 min. Take the Muni line #N direction Downtown and stop at Powell St.

Fisherman's Warf is 4.5 miles away from the property: By car or taxi: 25 min. By public transportation: 20 min. Take the Muni line #N direction Downtown and stop at Embarcadero St. Then enjoy the waterfront walk to Fisherman’s Wharf.

The SFO Airport is 12.3 miles away from the property: By car or taxi: 21 min. You can also book a shuttle service to the airport. By public transportation: 50 min. Take MUNI to Powell then switch to the BART, which will drop you directly at the airport.
