Studio Apartment in Melrose

The GUEST HOUSE is airy, light and friendly, centrally located in hip West Hollywood neighbourhood with a romantic garden. You will have total privacy and it is very safe here.

Very CENTRAL LOCATION: Three minute walk to Melrose, designer shops, coffee shops and great restaurants; 15 min. walking distance to the Grove and historical Farmer's Market and Beverly Center, close to various bus-lines. 20 minutes walking distance to LACMA.

AMENITIES:

~ comfortable queen sized bed with spring mattress
~ warm queen-sized down comforter (in the winter months), all fresh bed linens provided ~ extra queen size futon and/or airbed
~ desk and bookshelf for work and storage
~ breakfast / dining table
~ built-in closet with plenty of room for travel baggage and clothes for two or more people
~ updated kitchen area overlooks the garden [with full-size fridge + freezer, two hot plates, microwave/grill, sink, equipped with kitchen utensils like coffee press, cups, bowls, plates, cutlery etc.
~ modern tiled bathroom with shower unit, wash basin...
(please note that this is an energy- and water saving tank due to water regulations in Los Angeles and that in the winter the water tank needs circa 15 minutes to refill itself for a second person to shower)
~ you will be provided with fresh towels and bed linens, the house will be clean (we charge a cleaning fee of $30 per stay)
~ wireless internet system for full bar reception
~ 20" Philips TV for DVD and CD playback plus a collection of assorted DVDs and music CDs, magazines and books (please note that there is no TV reception)

Zen-style sun deck and totally private lawn area behind the guest house with sun shade and grill. Fresh oranges, lemons and grapefruits grow on the lot!!!

You can easily park on the street during the day time and a couple of feet up the road on the next block at night.

RATES:
per extra guest/partner we charge + $25.

PETS: Pets are included in the price of your stay but it does not cover any damages that might occur. Please note that we do not allow ANY pets on the furniture, sofa or bed, no matter how small, sweet or clean they are.

PARKING: On the street, free, very unproblematic.

Also: We have got a medium sized dog - a very sweet Whippet-Podengo mix. She is a very bad watch dog but curious like a cat and likes to sleep on the deck in the sun... she is very friendly, also with children.
