This apartment is a special place, a space which allows you to live not like a tourist, but like us, real Budapesters. I featured my apartment in a way that I believe would serve you best in getting a real Budapest-experience.
This recently renovated, nice, cozy, warm, central city apartment with street view, is available for short and medium term. The apartment is on the 5th floor of a Bauhaus building. It can be ideal for couples or 3 people. Within the apartment, there is bright, stylish room with big windows and a living room and bedroom corner, with sofa bed and a separated double bed, accordingly. Bed linen is provided.
Cable TV with different local and international channels keeps you to be updated and free wi-fi allows you keep your connections. In the clean and nice bathroom you can refresh yourselves and if you want you can clean your clothes with the washing machine. Of course, there is a hair dryer and you can find clean towels in the cupboard. The kitchen is equipped with gas cooker, a fridge, microwave, kettle, dishes, glasses, coffee, tea and basic ingredients.
District 13 is one of the most popular part of Budapest for living. The apartment is very easily accessible from different parts of the city. Near the house, there is a stop of a non-stop public transport (tram no. 4-6) which always makes you feel safe to walk home by yourself, even late at night!!!. Trams 2 (the sightseeing line), 4 & 6 (non-stop tram line), buses, metro (all lines are close to the apt), trolley buses, and the Western Railway Station are also within a walking distance.
Airport trains (20 minutes to terminal 1) are running from our local train station (Nyugati pályaudvar) which is only 5 minutes walk from the apartment. Taxi from the airport is about 25-40 minutes (about 7500 HUF) depending on the time of the day (e.g. 20 minutes on Sundays, but could take up to 40 minutes in the morning or 5 pm rush hour) Shuttle bus + train or tube can take up to 40 - 60 minutes from the airport to the apartment. The neighborhood is safe and friendly.
