==== Detailed Description ====
This is a studio apartment or "mother-in-law suite" which is part of a classic brick cottage-style house in a quiet walkable neighborhood. It has a separate keyed-entry through a foyer. The studio is in excellent condition and has been fully remodeled (all new plumbing, electricity, walls, bathroom and flooring). Studio is 350 square feet. Has full size futon and single roll-away bed.

Kitchenette includes: Mini refrigerator, microwave, Toaster oven, hot plate (can cook an egg), coffee maker, along with a few dishes and cutlery.
Futon bed is full size. It has a comfy memory foam mattress which gets fresh clean fitted sheets for each reservation (along with fresh clean pillow cases and duvet cover). Clean towels are also provided.
We offer a discount for TU students (If you are a TU student, just write for a special discounted rate!).

Guests will have full private use of the studio duplex with all of the amenities listed. Guests will access to the fenced back yard.
Parking is on the safe quiet neighborhood street with little traffic.
Laundry service on request! Also, newly refurbished laundromat is a couple blocks away, University of Wash, which also has a bar, arcade and freshly prepared hot sandwiches.

Please note that there is no thermostat in the Lounge. The temperature is kept around 72F. Please let us know after check-in if any adjustment is needed and we will do our best to accommodate you.
There are two inside dogs in the main house who will be out in the yard from time to time, but they are well mannered and should not affect your stay (They are quiet 99% of the time and even after dozens of guests have stayed at our property, we have never had a complaint about them).

This studio duplex is conveniently located in the highly-regarded Florence Park neighborhood in midtown Tulsa which is a classic walkable neighborhood full of brick cottage-style homes. It is located near the University of Tulsa & Downtown Tulsa, near Route 66 & Cherry Street (15th street between Peoria & Harvard). It is less than a mile from the Fairgrounds. Furthermore, it is conveniently located near St. Johns Medical Center, OSU Medical Center, & Hillcrest Hospital.
We have a large map available with many local attractions listed on the table which you can write on with a dry-erase marker. We also have many of our favorite places on our 'Guidebook' online which we can provide at request.
Nearby art attractions include the Philbrook & Gilcrease Museum (which houses the world's largest, most comprehensive collection of art of the American West) along with the Woody Guthrie Center. We are about five minutes away from great concert & entertainment venues such as the BOK Center, Tulsa Performing Arts Center & Cain’s Ballroom.
Local elegant shopping & dining spots include Utica Square, Cherry Street & Brookside. The Deco District has a variety of restaurants & shopping areas in the heart of downtown including unique Art-Deco-themed shop Decopolis & a Mid-Century-themed restaurant The Vault.
While in Tulsa, visit the local boutiques & shops along these districts. Also, conveniently located nearby are the Blue Dome, Pearl & Brady Art Districts, filled with many Tulsa nightlife destinations. The Brady District includes a variety of art galleries, bars & dining spots along with “Guthrie Green” – an outdoor stage & park in the heart of downtown.

Sports fans will be able to enjoy games at the local universities, such as The University of Tulsa, Oklahoma State University Tulsa, Oklahoma Wesleyan, Langston University, & Oral Roberts University.

Within minutes, be at ONEOK Field—home of the Tulsa Drillers, H.A. Nearby, guests can visit the Tulsa Garden Center rose gardens, Woodward Park & Linnaeus Teaching Gardens. Nature lovers should not miss the beautiful drive along the Arkansas River —Riverside Drive. Families can enjoy a visit to Swan Lake, the Tulsa Zoo, & seasonal performances at Discoveryland.
The neighborhood is full of cottage & bungalow-style houses from the 1920's. It is very walkable with friendly neighbors & warm atmosphere. Several nearby parks are within walking distance including Florence Park (with playground, splash pad & tennis courts), Gary Park (with playground) & Pratt Park (with swings, frisbee golf & basketball court).

==== Getting around ====
A car is recommended for anywhere in Tulsa. However, other transportation options around the area and to downtown are available and reasonably priced. We have had guests stay without a car and enjoy their time. There are a couple dozen restaurants within walking distance. A bicycle has been recommended to enjoy the area.
By Taxi: Taxis are easily available along with ride-share/taxi services such as Uber & Lyft. These two services are often available to the home within 5 minutes. Taxi cost to downtown is typically $6-10.
By Bus: Three Tulsa Transit bus lines are nearby: 11th Street (111), 15th Street (215) and Harvard (210). All three go downtown. There are several nearby stops on 11th, 15th and Harvard. Use the "Tulsa Transit Scheduler" to find a stop.
Once downtown, ride the Old Urban Trolley for free 5pm - 2am every Friday & Saturday night with stops at Guthrie Green, The Brady Arts District, BOK Center, The Mayo Hotel, Tulsa Deco District, Tulsa PAC & the Blue Dome District.
