This apartment is perfect for you if you are looking to have a different experience from the usual tourist in a chain hotel. Enjoy Puerto Rico in its true essence. This apartment is in the best location you can possibly hope for. The apartment itself is on a second floor. It has a personal, private entrance just for you.

When you walk in the apartment you see the open concept kitchen and living room area with the balcony up front. The space has a lot of windows. That is why the apartment is so bright, fresh and airy. It is my favorite thing about the apartment. You feel like you are outside, you can see everything around you. In the space you will find a fully equipped kitchen. I have pots and pans if you which to cook on the stove. You have all the utensils, plates and cups you need. I have provided a microwave and coffee maker. It has everything you need to feel right at home.

Also in the living room, you have a table and two chairs, and an additional set outside in the balcony. There is also a futon that serves as an additional sleeping or resting bed. The room has a queen bed, a night table and a three drawer chest to store your belongings. You will find a TV with over 100 English and Spanish channels. There are two additional twin beds. There is a big closet where you will find additional linen, towels and hangers. The bathroom has been fully renovated.

I have provided towels, soap and other personal hygiene products. I maintain very high standards on cleanliness. Feel secure in knowing your well being is very important to me and you will arrive to a very well kept and clean apartment.

GUEST ACCESS:

You will have your own private entrance, and you may use all areas of the upstairs apartment.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS:

I'm more than happy to help make your stay comfortable and joyful. You can approach me with any concerns or questions either by text or personally if I'm around. I will be there at the moment of your arrival to give you the keys, show you around and make sure you are comfortably installed. I need to emphasize that it is okay to approach me if you are in need of directions or suggestions, I will be glad to be of help.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD:

Ocean Park in San Juan is an amazing neighborhood! This is exactly what you are looking for, if you are looking to have a truly local experience. Calle Loiza is becoming a trendy and popular area, while still maintaining its Caribbean and Puerto Rican flavor. Locals live, hang out, and work here. The people in this neighborhood are very easygoing, friendly, and welcoming.

Everything you need is within walking distance. Shops, restaurants, bakeries, colorful fruit stands, nightlife, hotels, casinos, and of course miles of beautiful white sand beaches.

GETTING AROUND:

You have so many choices for transportation:

-BUS: 75 cents

-PISA Y CORRE: (smaller bus) 60 cents

-TAXI: (not recommended) it is expensive and not necessary since everything is walking distance or accessible by other means of transportation. Still it is available nearby.

-BIKES: There is a rental shop close by if interested (Ocean Park, Santurce, Condado, and Isla Verde is a bike friendly neighborhood)

-TROLLEY: FREE!! Get a free ride to major tourist areas for free. Trolley stop is a few steps from the apartment.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:

-Birds like visiting the patio during the day. Lots of bird activity outside.

HOUSE RULES:

-Please close and lock the gates on your way out.

-Please turn off the hot water switch when you are done.
