Triple Room Dreamcatcher House

The Dreamcatcher is a Guest House located just 100 meters from the beach. We offer on-site yoga classes, vegetarian breakfast and free Wi-Fi. The house features a Communal Kitchen, a large Terrace and a Buddha Garden. All rooms are air-conditioned.

TRIPLE room
Sleeps up to Three | Shares Bath with One Room

This is our biggest room, decorated with an Asian vintage motif. Pastel colors, Japanese panels on the walls, soft lighting and antique oriental artwork.

The GRAND TRIPLE room has a comfortable double bed plus a full size futon. Two closets and direct access to a shared bath. The windowed bathroom is large and is only shared with the Menorca Room.

All rooms have A/C, cotton sheets, bath and beach towels and a large picnic blanket, which can be used for the beach. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the house. Every room is decorated with a Dreamcatcher, to protect your sleep and entice sweet dreams.

THE HOUSE
This gorgeous and intimate Guest House is located right at the beach in the gated community of Ocean Park, only 10 minutes away from the Historical Old San Juan and the airport.

The Dreamcatcher is thoughtfully decorated with mostly vintage furniture and collectibles. The house holds beauty and memories alike, every corner tells a story. The Dreamcatcher is a true oasis with many areas to find privacy as well as to come together with other guests and friends.

The common areas consist of a dining room, two lounging areas with rocking chairs and hammocks. A spacious living room that opens to the garden as well as a fully equipped Communal Kitchen. The garden is protected by dozens of Buddha’s, which quietly sit among the fruit trees, the water fountain and in between the flowers. In addition there is an edible garden in the front of the house with fruits, vegetables and herbs, where guests are welcome to help themselves.

Every room is decorated with a Dreamcatcher to protect your sleep and entice sweet dreams.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD
This beautiful neighborhood of Ocean Park is one of the very few areas in San Juan where you find direct access to the beach without having High Rises surrounding you.

All in walking distance you have cozy cafes, amazing restaurants, fresh fruit stands, a yoga studio, a farmer’s market, grocery stores, boutiques, surf shops, hair- and beauty salons, only to name a few..

It is a very safe neighborhood and from our house it's only a 10-minute walk to Condado and Isla Verde, both highly touristic areas packed with even more restaurants, spas and shops. The Historical Old San Juan is a 10 minutes car ride and so is the airport.

Staying in Ocean Park, you will enjoy more of a local flair than a mass tourism experience. We at the Dreamcatcher Guest House have made a map of the area with our recommendations for your convenience.

Integrative Massage Therapy: Client-centered table massage integrating various healing modalities including but not limited to Orthopedic Massage, Swedish, Zen Shiatsu, Sports Massage, Visceral Manipulation, Deep Tissue, Pre-Natal and Reflexology. PADDLE BOARDING
Two Hour Paddle Boarding Excursion/Class at the Lagoon of Condado with our instructor Dario for $30 a person.

YOGA CLASSES
Three times a week (Monday, Wednesday & Saturday at 7pm) we hold Yoga Classes around the lemon tree in the garden. All classes are based on donation.

DANCE CLASSES
Frequently we organize Salsa Classes at the House. Private Dance classes (various styles) can be arranged.

DINNERS
Few times a month dinner parties are planned, usually accompanied of local musicians, called bohemias. These are gatherings where street musicians come together to play latin classics.

KOMBUCHA & JUICING
We offer freshly pressed vegetable & fruit juices as well as home-grown kombucha for $8 a drink.

LAUNDRY
We are happy to do a load of laundry for you. Each load is $12.00.

YOUR HOSTS
I have been working as an interior designer and movie set decorator for over 10 years and for a long time it has been on my 'TO DO' list to create a space that I can share in a more personal manner with people. During the time when I lived in New York City, Puerto Rico became the perfect spot for me to go on vacation and when I moved back to the island I created this space so you can enjoy a perfectly relaxing vacation in the Caribbean.

The house is decorated with mostly vintage furniture that I have gotten from my grandmother, mother, friends and from past movie sets. The style is eclectic and fun, every corner tells a story and there are plenty of areas to enjoy privacy.

It's been almost two years since I started to share my home with visitors and friends and since then the space has grown in a beautiful organic manner. Every single visitor has been part of this process, leaving behind a memory and their beautiful energy as part of the many layers that create this home.

A few months ago a wonderful visitor Stephan arrived at the house and a very beautiful friendship and journey started. Together we are now continuing and growing the Dreamcatcher Project and would like you to also be a part of it!

We share the house with Pippa and Malda, two amazing golden retrievers that will receive you wagging their tails every time.
