Rustic rooftop apartment in Taipei, with own Patio, Garden, Small home gym and barbeque. open, airy and beautifully unique, it has been described as stepping into bali from the city. can sleep up to four (extra mattresses included) would suit a couple or small family looking for an inner city haven, extremely therapeutic space.
At our doorstep is a supermarket, ATM, 2 organic shops, a park, vegetarian buffets, a bakery, starbucks, amongst a bohemia of other cafes, coffee shops, bars, boutiques and uber-cool hangouts. 7/11s and fruit juice/tea kiosks (never far away), fast food, slow food, Gonguan shopping district, night market, cinema and food haven is a 5 minute walk, Shida shopping district, boutiques and markets 10 mins walk away, the river, with its cycle tracks, bike rentals and parks can be reached in 15, the MRT is 10, Taida campus with a beautiful little lake, University sports field running track, gym and other campus amenities less than 10, Treasure hill artists village around 15, Da’an Park with the weekend flower and jade markets slightly more than 15, but there is nothing I can think of that is not almost instantly within reach. We even have a water park 10 minutes away.
In the apartment there is a master bedroom, with a huge solid desk, living room, hot shower and bath, aircon, kitchen, washing machine, when living here we mostly eat raw food, but there is a fridge/freezer with a couple of gas rings too.
We Have Cable and wifi internet, There is a TV but we dont really use it, we've found much more interesting things to do, and a VHS video recorder of all things!
I don't have a car so don't know much about parking, but am sure if you need it, let me know and I can endeavour to find a solution.
With this place you're almost bang in the center of everything, CKS memorial hall, an amazing vast space and temple with a concert hall only a few stops on the MRT, as is Ximending shopping and weird district, Taipei main station and the hot springs to the south. Xinyi/Taipei 101 is about a 15 min cab ride, or short bus/MRT trip away, Zhongxiao big commercial shopping district, with the bade road computer and gadgets area also just up the road by bus/MRT
I'd live here full time, but I travel a lot bringing my work to the world. So enjoy the space, water the plants and have fun!
