Beautiful Room in the Heart of IXL

Beautiful & spacious private room with access to a full equipped kitchen in the heart of Ixelles, Place Flagey. Perfect for people coming at the EU.Parl. or ULB for short periods, for couples or little groups of friends (up to 4 persons) on a tour !

Charming and cosy high ceilings private apartment in a second floor of a typical Belgian style house decorated with the inspiration of a traveler, photograph and musician. A great retreat between the lively Place Flagey, Place Chatelain and the Avenue Louise. Ten minutes away from the skyline view of Palais de Justice, twenty minutes from the Grand Place, center of Brussels and 15 minutes away from the European Parliament.

You will have your own private room with a double bed a single bed and extra mattress for a fourth person. A comfortable space for a couple with a child or friends with a desk to comfortably sit and write or use a laptop for students or freelancers. A storage for your clothes will be free and the access to a fully equipped 24h kitchen, a nice bathroom equipped with a bathtub.

Fridge and food stock will be stocked with the basics for cooking and coffee or tea available for free and of course will include a couple of Belgian beers and chocolate to respect traditions ;) If you have any specific or special requests for your breakfast, you can ask me...

I stay in the living room, my door is often open then you are welcome to come in. I work a lot in various projects, outside and at home. I usually try to spend some times with my guests, get them to meet people, have dinners etc... But that depends on my schedule!
Other than that, I am a very easy man and not too particular, make yourself feel at home, stay private in your room or come and share the experience!

A phone is also available with free calls in Belgium and Europe allowing you to organize your journey around.
Documentations and city agenda will be available in the hall with maps and top lists of activities around.

The Neighbourhood:

Overview

A great neighbourhood, with lots of restaurants fusions, Belgian, Asian. Down & up the road various bars and cafes, libraries, theatres, museums... A lot of artists around: painters, performers, jazz lovers, and great friends too! Place Flagey is a great multicultural and multisocial mix creating a very unique vibe!

Transport

Busses and the trams are the transport most used. The center is reachable with Bus 71 from Place Flagey ; Tram 94 from Bailli, and a direct tram (81) to Gare du Midi (Thalys - TGV – Eurostar or shuttle from Charleroi Aeroport) that you can take just in front of the apartment.

For people coming with a car, there is a parking just in Place Flagey, 5 minutes walk that charges 10 euros per day. Parkings in the streets are free from 7pm
