Rental Details
The Space
A European style 4 star boutique hotel in the heart of Downtown! It doesn't get more central than this.
The suite is located in a Hotel building and is in a 'commercial zone' thus conforming with the 'short term vacation rental' requirements of Vancouver city. (Any short term rental less than 30 days is prohibited in the city of Vancouver unless it forms a part of a Hotel or is a licensed BnB)
Guest Access:
The suite is a separate entity from the Hotel. This is a privately owned suite within the Hotel building and does not share any of the Hotel facilities but shares the common space like entrance lobby, waiting areas and the gym.
Interaction with Guests:
I will be personally present to greet you and welcome you to your suite. I shall be available anytime on phone during your stay and shall also come when you leave.
The Neighborhood:This is the centre of Downtown.
Right next to the Burrard station and 5 mins walk to the Convention Centre and Canada Place.
EVERYTHING! downtown has to offer is a few minutes walk.
- YWCA (one of the best health and fitness centers in North America) is next door and is available for 16 CAD a day
- Stein Medical clinic is next door for medical issues - walk-in service.
- The Hotel is surrounded by Bentall Towers (commercial) which have shopping arcades, food courts and shops in an inter - connected series of basement levels.
- This is in the heart of downtown and all major shopping streets (Granville, West Georgia, Howe, Robson, Water Street, Pender, etc) are within a 5 - 10 mins walking distance.
Getting Around:
Skytrain: Just behind the building is the Burrard station on the Millennium line and Granville Station is two lanes away on the Canada line. Together they can take you to any part of Vancouver.
If you are planning on using public transport, I would advice purchasing the 'Compass card' that can be used on the Skytrain as well as all the buses in Vancouver. The compass card is available at all Skytrain stations vending machines.
One has multiple options of public transport from skytrain, seabus, westcoast rail service, airport, etc. You don't need a car or a taxi service when arriving or leaving or just basic sight seeing.
Other Things to Note:
Kitchen: The suite does not have a complete kitchen but purely a dry kitchenette which has a microwave, mini fridge, toaster, coffee maker, plates, bowls, glasses and some cutleries.
Parking options:
Free parking at DPS Parkade (Located opp to the entrance of the building). You will be given a daily pass for the number of days you stay which will allow you to enter and exit as many times you like 24 X 7
House Rules:
-We expect our guest to behave themselves like they would in any high end Hotel.
-No pets, smoking or parties.
-This is a very elite building and will only be given to someone responsible.
-Minimum age of 25. Please note the suite is not child proof
-Verified ID required.
-Lost FOB / Keys - 100$
-Guests are expected to dispose off their own garbage using the building facilities.
-Guests are expected to tidy up and clean up the place of all garbage before leaving and strive to leave the suite clean and tidy.
