I live and work from home but from the Reviews, you can see it feels like your own NYC Apartment. Exclusive and private use of the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom.

Although I live and work from home but you may actually never see me.

Air conditioned 1500 square feet apartment includes furnished one bedroom/living space, private fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, 1 spacious closet, microwave, television, wireless, refrigerator and nearby laundry access, subway and restaurants (they deliver!). Dishes and toiletries available.Child-friendly. I love pets but I am allergic so no pets.

There is latex in the futons and the pillows have plastic covers, so if you are averse to plastic or have an allergy to latex the space is not best for you.

The building has a great history of notable Harlem Residents. There is usually great heat, hot water and a working elevator. And this is New York, so there may even be a movie crew around the building some days. It's a real New York experience.

Different people have different needs and styles. The apartment is made clean and ready for you. On the rare occasion, guests have additional needs they are able to self clean, a pantry full of cleaning products are supplied. It is my apartment, I do live there and I work there. Most folks rarely see me because of my schedule and theirs.

Guests have made the kitchen their own. There are condiments and things left over from previous stays - as well as a wok, a microwave, a coffee pot, filtered water, a dishwasher (only used to drain clean dishes) and lots of menus. :-)

By public transportation
4 minutes to 1 train - 145th St subway station
7 minute walk to A, B, C, and D train
12 minutes to Columbia University
30 minutes to the Cloisters
40 minutes to Yankee Stadium
35 minutes to the Apollo Theater
20 to 30 minutes from midtown, depending on which train you take and the time of day.

Visit Times Square, the Cloisters or Columbia University. Great restaurants which also deliver! Laundry, cleaners, a State Park with swimming pool, track and ice-skating ring just 7 minutes away.
