*In your initial response, please provide your preferred move in and move out dates, as well as the best phone # and time to reach you. The space is currently rented and is AVAILABLE for move in on Saturday, December 7th.

$55 per night, $365 per week. Single occupancy rates. Ground-floor studio.

This is NOT a share situation, so you can have complete privacy. Host is also fluent in German and some French.

 

Fully-furnished private, ground-floor guesthouse studio with private bath located in Atwater Village zip code 90039; Silverlake, Los Feliz & Glendale adjacent. Located 15 minutes from the heart of Hollywood. Close to the i-5, 2, 110 and 134 freeways. A quick walk to lots of cool places including the uber-hip Griffin, Bon Vivant, Link 'n Hopps (sausage), Village Tavern, The Roost, Big Foot Lounge, Best Buy, Costco, Indochine, Veit, Acapulco, Jamba Juice, Baja Fresh, El Buen Gusto, Art Galleries, Pilates & Yoga Studios, Kaldi Coffee (& a Starbucks, of course), 2 mins to Trader Joes, Gelsons, and much more...Also, there's the Americana Mall in Glendale about 5 minutes away.

 

In addition, there is a brand new sausage & beer restaurant at the end of the street that also has delicious vegan options.

 

Great for family while visiting the area, a business stay or vacation rental. Think of this as a larger, less-expensive alternative to a hotel room. With more perks, ie, free use of laundry facilities.

 

This is a detached, stand-alone cottage, so there are no common walls and no noisy (or nosy) neighbors to deal with. It is cozy and clean.

 

A short contract will need to be completed as well a security/ cleaning deposit sent (depending on length of stay) to secure the rental prior to move-in. This will secure the place for you & also allow us to turn away other interested parties. Full deposit will be returned upon a clean checkout. We only ask that you leave the place in the shape that you found it. Otherwise, there will be a $75 cleaning fee.

 

As a disclaimer, there is a dog on the premises that is never off-leash, and always kept inside except for walks. Her owners take extra care with her.

About the Hosts:

 

My wife and I work in the entertainment industry. We love traveling and we love meeting new people. My wife speaks German fluently and is conversant in French. We are eager to be of help with advice and suggestions as you explore all of the exciting and beautiful things that Los Angeles has to offer. We have three adorable dogs who also love to welcome new guests! There are lots of fine restaurants and shops at the end of our block, within easy walking distance.

 

We love living in Atwater Village because it truly does have a 'village' feel here, and we have such charming neighbors. Plus, it's quite a bonus when you can live in Los Angeles and not have to get into your car to enjoy a good restaurant.
