Located in the east of Paris, 20th arrondissement(place Gambetta), this typical Parisian appartment (Haussmannian style) is very light (Fifth and last floor)and calm. It’s located in a quiet and residential street within a very nice lively neighbourghood (bars, restaurants, cafés, boulangeries, supermarkets, cinemas, theaters, etc…) Note that there is no elevator like in many old Parisian buildings.
It is furnished and very simply equiped enough to be cosy-homy : kitchen : Fridge, Washing machine with dryer, cooking pans, etc… No oven. Bathroom : shower, hair dryer. Living-room : WIFI but No tv (but possibility to plug your computer and get national main channels). Free calls to northern America from home phone. Electrical heating.
The location is very convenient for metro and buses : Five minutes by foot from the famous Père Lachaise cemetery. Five minutes from the place Gambetta and the Gambetta metro station (line 3) Direct Metro line 3 to Place de la Republique, to the famous Garnier Opera house and to the “Grand magasins” Parisian famous department stores. Direct Buses 61, 69 and 96 to Le marais/ Chatelet place de la Bastille, and Louvre museum (Notre-dame cathedral, the Seine river banksides)and direct bus 26 to the famous Buttes Chaumont Park. Direct Metro line 3 to Place de la République, to the famous Garnier Opera house and to“Grand magasins” Parisian famous department stores.
