SETTING: This condo is on the fifth floor of the Hoopskirt Factory Lofts, an 1875 industrial building converted into apartments, then to condos in 2006. It’s in Old City, a historic district and neighborhood within Center City, Philadelphia’s downtown and central business district. (The Betsy Ross house is across the street; Ben Franklin is buried two blocks away.) The neighborhood is a dense network of one-way streets, some cobblestone, lined with old light-industrial buildings now used as bars, restaurants, boutiques and condos. It is easily walkable, and about three blocks away from a stop for SEPTA, Philadelphia’s rail system.

INSIDE: The home retains the original wood ceiling beams and floors. Loft-style, it is anchored by a great room with 20-foot ceilings and oversize windows. There are 2 bedrooms. 1 is on the ground floor and the other is up a spiral staircase, and shaded from the light of the living room with retractable screens. The building has a secured entry and an elevator.

The entire home is fully stocked. Wi fi is free, once your reservation is secure you will receive detailed arrival information from us 7 days prior to your arrival date.
