Modern Living Kanda opened its door in April, 2011! The house is conveniently located in the downtown of Tokyo, very close to several train and subway stations. Living in this area is ideal for exploring Tokyo in every direction; you can take trains and subways and go anywhere in the Tokyo Metropolitan area very easily, and you can walk to the most famous, important places in central Tokyo such as the Imperial Palace, Tokyo / Otemachi Business District, and Akihabara Electric Town. Property Information:
There are 13 rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building. Some rooms are large enough for two people. Everything is renovated and brand new. There is a super market on the same block.

Area Information:
The neighborhood is fun, exciting and easy to get to from anywhere in Tokyo. In this area, you will find hundreds of affordable bars and restaurants, a variety of shops and famous shrines and temples. You will enjoy the upbeat and cheerful “Edokko” atmosphere of the city. The area also has parks, schools, libraries and sports centers.

Guesthouse & Apartment Living has 9 locations in the Tokyo / Chiba areas. Apartments are available furnished or unfurnished. In Tokyo there are 8 locations (Asakusa 1, Asakusa 2, Harajuku, Ikebukuro, Kita Shinjuku, Kitami, Kuramae, Shiba) and 1 location in Chiba (Minami-Gyotoku).
In August 2010, we opened our newest, fully furnished guesthouse in Minato-ku with 13 rooms.

Akihabara is a major shopping area for electronic, computer, anime, and otaku goods, including new and used items. New items are mostly to be found on the main street, Chūōdōri, with many kinds of used items found in the back streets of Soto Kanda 3-chōme. New parts for PC-building are readily available from a variety of stores. Tools, electrical parts, wires, microsized cameras and similar items are found in the cramped passageways of Soto Kanda 1-chōme (near the station).
