Rental Details
Modern Living Asakusa II is a new guesthouse just a 3 minute walk down the street from our Modern Living Asakusa I. The set up is very similar and every room is perfectly renovated!
Central Tokyo location, close to Shibuya, Ropppongi, Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Mita / Diamon / Shibakoen areas, bicycle distance from Ueno, Akihabara, Asakusabashi, Iriya, Kuramae. Room rents range from 43,000 to 62,000 yen / depending on size.
Located 6 to 12 minutes walking distance to Sensoji Temple and 5 major Tokyo train lines (Tsukuba Express, Asakusa Station, Ginza, Toei Asakusa, Tobu Isezaki lines, Asakusa Station and Iriya Station, Hibiya line), close to several supermarkets and a variety of other shopping, the area has many parks and a public sports training center with gym, tennis courts, pools, running track, and athletic fields (soccer, baseball, basketball, etc., ¥250 per visit!). Bicycle distance from Ueno and Akihabara.
Asakusa is one of the most famous historical areas of Tokyo. This city is famous for its festivals (Matsuri), including Sanja Festival, Asakusa Samba Carnival, Sumida River Fireworks, Tori no Ichi (Rooster Market) etc., which take place throughout the year. The area is also well know for Sensoji, one of the largest most famous Tokyo Temple complexes with many shops and stalls along winding narrow streets. Asakusa, Taito-ku is one of the most convenient and least expensive areas for living in Tokyo. Rental bicycles are available for 500 yen a week.
Guesthouse & Apartment has 9 locations in the Tokyo / Chiba areas. Apartments are available furnished or unfurnished. In Tokyo there are 8 locations (Asakusa 1, Asakusa 2, Harajuku, Ikebukuro, Kita Shinjuku, Kitami, Kuramae, Shiba) and 1 location in Chiba (Minami-Gyotoku).
In August 2010, we opened our newest, fully furnished guesthouse in Minato-ku with 13 rooms.
If the room you want is not available now, choose one of our vacant rooms temporarily and then switch to the room you want when it is vacant, free of any service charges.
Additional charges to be paid to host upon arrival:
12, 000 yen/month for utilities
3,000 yen/month service charge if stay is shorter than 3 months
Refundable security deposit of 30, 000 yen
Free high speed Internet LAN and Wi-Fi is provided.
