THE SPACE 
Our Villa is the quintessential picture of Balinese paradise. Located directly on rice paddies, still farmed today by our Balinese friends and neighbors. Behold breathtaking views from the outdoor kitchen table. Make conversation with the locals as they pass by. The sun and moon set over the westward horizon framing our front yard. Relax in the hammock and watch the world turn.

THE VILLAGE

We are located in the quaint surf town of Canggu, where we enjoy ready-access to all of the area's hot surf spots and yoga studios. Our village is a great location for adventure seekers and active travelers due to the abundance of activities close at hand. The locals are smiling and kind. Across the street is our local "pura" temple and often you will see traditional ceremonies in the village. In true Bali tradition, the streets, homes and temples, including ours, are punctuated with ornate and colorful offerings. We can provide you with ceremonial garb, if you choose to want to experience a local ceremony. Just ask!

THE VIBE

The aroma of frangipani flowers and incense floats in the air. Relax to the sound of the temple prayers echoing through the valley and be lulled to sleep to an orchestra of crickets jingling.

THE VILLA

Our home was designed in the traditional Balinese open floor plan style, allowing light and air to flow off the rice fields throughout the space. Unlike many villas for rent, ours is fashioned with "high design" in mind, featuring a unique avant-garde style guaranteed to inspire. All of the furniture and paintings are antique treasures from throughout the Indonesian isles and Colombia.

We've complemented antiquities with all of the modern comforts necessary for a luxurious and relaxing stay; including air conditioning in every room and state-of-the-art bathroom fixtures. Our staff has been trained to look after your every need. The big beautiful outdoor kitchen and dining area has high ceilings and traditional alang-alang grass roof. The dining table, a grand wooden art piece carved in the Timor style, seats 8.

MIND BODY & SOUL
Our lovely loyal team of staff will greet you with smiling faces and make your stay a most memorable one. Enjoy the pool and teak loungers in the lovely gardens. Go for a yoga class or shop a farmer's market nearby. Take a day trip to a waterfall in the North. Ask us to organize a legendary Balinese massage with our in-house masseuse Sumi in the comforts of the Villa. Enjoy a dinner in the pool house under the moonlight.

FAMILY & KIDS
There are lots of activities for the kids at the house and in this area. Yoga, surf lessons, swimming lessons, balinese dance, a trip to the water park? All of those things are within minutes of the Villa and can be arranged, just ask!

FRIENDS & COUPLES
We have the perfect space for sharing and relaxing among friends. All bedrooms are separate and so you can retain your privacy. Plenty of room for dinner parties and lounging by the pool. Our driver will be happy to take you for day trips to historical sights. We can also point you in the direction of the vibrant nightlife in Bali, less than ten minutes away.

GUEST ACCESS 

POOL
We share a gorgeous turquoise blue pool with our wonderful neighbors, a family with young children from Europe. Alongside the pool is an amazing little house, with a bbq, outdoor refrigerator, and dining table for 10. This space is great for dinner under the moonlight.

STAFF
The Villa is run by Kadek, a long-time local. She will keep the house clean and orderly every day. She is also a fantastic chef, trained to prepare amazing healthy and local foods. She is wonderful with children, and can provide babysitting services, need be. Get ready to be pampered and well looked after!
Airport transfers can be arranged, as well as car and motorbikes prior to your arrival. We have an on-staff masseurs and aestheticians. Our team will come to the house to pamper you with spa services, such as manicures and pedicures, waxing and facials.

INTERACTION WITH GUESTS 

Completely depends on your wishes. When we travel we like to have someone point the way, but enjoy being left to our own adventures. Let us know what you prefer, and we will see that it happens.
As long-time residents and locals, we have the desire to make your stay as comfortable and fun as possible.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT OUR VILLA 

As our home is located on the ricefields, we will occasionally have little visitors like frogs and tokay geckos inside the house, and monitor lizards outside the house. They are harmless and enjoy dining on small insects. If you are petrified of amphibians, this probably is not the house for you. (though fair warning, you will likely find in any house in Bali - part of the deal of the tropics!)

The property has two small cats and two dogs who remain outside the house. They are very friendly, but it's likely you will not see them as they generally hang out with our neighbors. If you do, feel free to say hello!

Unlike many villas in Bali, the house features air conditioning throughout every room, including the glass enclosed living room space, providing utmost comfort in any season - rainy or dry - for any traveler.
