It's near I-275, St. Pete Beach and the Gulf of Mexico, Eckerd College, Ft. Desoto Park, downtown St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tampa, Sarasota, and even Ft. Myers for a day trip. Price includes 12% tourist tax (13% effective 2016).

This private 1/1 condo is elegantly furnished and painted and located on the 5th floor of The Wave condo building (has elevator, of course). It's tiled throughout except in the bedroom which has oak laminate. It's ideal for 2-4 people because the bedroom has a queen sleigh bed and the living room contains has a queen sleeper sofa with cushioned mattress cover. The dining area is adjacent to the balcony which overlooks the large oval pool, picnic/BBQ areas, sand volleyball court, and lush woods with palms, pines, and live oak trees for a secluded resort feeling. The balcony has outdoor furniture for enjoyment of nature and fresh air. The living room contains a queen sleeper sofa, unique round matching loveseat, end table with lamp, coffee table, large area rug, ceiling fan, silk tropical plants, beautiful artwork, vivid paint colors throughout, an LED TV (with cable from Bright House Networks), DVD player, and small black lacquer entertainment center. The cute dining area is nearby with a solid dark wood pub-style table and two pub chairs.

The lovely bedroom has a queen sleigh bed, matching dresser with mirror, ceiling fan, wifi, two walk-in closets, TV, and attractive artwork. The bathroom has a sink, toilet with storage shelves above, tub and shower. The kitchen has refrigerator, oven/stove with ceramic glass top, microwave oven, coffee machine, dishes, glasses, pots, plasticware--all you need to prepare and store meals. The countertop overlooking the living room is a breakfast bar style so you can enjoy a meal there too while sitting on one of the three lovely bar stools. The hallway contains a large closet and also linen closet for your storage needs and comes equipped with an iron.

The host lives downstairs on the 4th floor and can assist you with questions and give sightseeing advice. It's in The Wave building which consists of over 100 other units in south St. Petersburg in an upscale, convenient location called Pinellas Point less than a mile east of Eckerd College and four miles east of St. Pete's famous beaches, Ft. Desoto Park, and the 1920s historic Don Cesar Hotel.

One assigned free parking space comes with the private unit. Free guest parking is also available around the building. The street in front of the building also has free parking in case the guest spots are filled. This is an attractive, affluent area minutes from the waters of Tampa Bay and a 10 minute drive west to the Gulf of Mexico and famous St. Pete Beach.

The Wave condos are at the base of the Skyway Bridge in south St. Petersburg. A private marina with new $300,000 plus townhouses is across the street. Tampa Bay and Maximo Park containing bayside beaches and picnic facilities are within a 1/2 mile. The condo is minutes from I-275 for a quick day trip to Tampa and Sarasota. Tampa is about 30 minutes away and Sarasota is a 45 minute drive. The condo is close to grocery stores and shopping. It's five miles south of beautiful downtown St. Petersburg and four miles east of Ft. DeSoto Park and the famous Gulf of Mexico beaches. This is a perfect place for nature lovers and people who like convenient access to all major tourist spots. Also, Eckerd College is about 1/2 miles away which is ideal for students' family members and visitors.

A public bus stop is a ten minute walk from the condo. Grocery stores, gas stations, convenience stores, and small restaurants are within a ten minute walk of the building. A private marina is across the street on a Tampa Bay tributary. The condo has one free assigned parking space. Free guest parking is also available around the building and in front along the street. Bike, canoe, kayak, jet ski, and other equipment can be rented in many nearby places for your leisure and recreational needs. The public library is a 10 minute drive too, and it has DVDs to check out in addition to books and also computers for library patrons to use for free.

No smoking allowed inside (on balcony only) and no pets allowed. Guests must be respectfully quiet for residents in the building which means no loud parties or noises after 11 p.m. The condos are not to be used for drunken parties. This is private property in which people live year-round so respectful, appropriate behavior is mandatory. Please tidy up condo and throw out garbage regularly. When not in the condo, please turn off lights and ceiling fans and turn up the AC to conserve electricity. Condo to be used only for legal purposes. Thank you!
