This sunny 1 bedroom private apt. in the Beaches is the perfect base from which to explore Toronto. Steps away from 24 hr streetcars, we are 25 min transit to downtown and a 5 min walk from cafés/ lake/parks/boardwalk/trendy Queen st. shops.

The Space

Enjoy this beautiful, sunny, 1 bedroom private apartment on a quiet street just 5 minute walk from the bustle of trendy Queen St. cafes, fine restaurants, bars, bakeries and shops as well as Ashbridges Bay Park and the Beach and Boardwalk.

The suite, a spacious open concept living & kitchen with a large sunny bedroom, is simply furnished with all the amenities of home. It features hardwood floors, a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave, etc. and a 4 piece bathroom with washer and dryer. The large bedroom, with exposed brick walls, features a Queen size bed, dresser and closet. The couch can be pulled out into a double futon bed to accommodate larger groups.

Hi-speed WiFi and free parking is also included.

The Neighbourhood

The Beaches is a lovely, dynamic East end neighbourhood, in close proximity of downtown and with direct access to some of Toronto's best green spaces. From the 'Beach', you can enjoy easy access to miles of Toronto's waterfront. Bike or run the Martin Goodman Multi-use Trail / bike path or explore/picnic in the various parks.

Toronto Beaches also hosts numerous festivals, including the Blues Fest, Rib Fest, Drum Fest and the Beaches International Jazz festival.

Getting around

Located 5 minutes from the freeway, you are a short drive from the downtown and can easily can get in out of the city to explore surrounding attractions. 24 hr. public transit (TTC, streetcar across town, or 7 minute bus ride to the subway system) is also less than a block away. ~ 25 minute by transit to downtown.

Interaction with Guests

We live on the main floor (you would be staying above us), so we are easily available as necessary to ensure that you are comfortable in the apartment. We, however, are respectful of privacy and space and remain essentially out of the way. The apartment is private and fully self-contained.
