Sanctuary in Metro DC

This is a self contained apartment on the lower level of our house and has just been remodelled. It’s light and airy but cozy too. You have your own separate entrance so you just take the key and you are free to come and go as you please. Wireless is available and flat screen TV with cable included. There is a separate private bath, queen bed and also a day bed which can comfortably sleep an extra guest. The apartment has its own bar / mini kitchen area (fridge, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker) Feel free to the private deck or in the garden.

Located in Brookland, an historic college neighbourhood made up of single family homes. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the city but still only 3 stops on the Metro from Union station and 5 stops from Chinatown. Located on the red metro line there is a metro stop just a 15 minute walk from the house. In no time you can be downtown and enjoying all the wonderful sights and museums here in DC whilst leaving your car at home – loads of free parking.

It’s also a great place to get up early and walk or jog to the Franciscan Monastery and gardens only a couple of blocks away, it's over 100 years old. We hope you enjoy this neighbourhood as much as we do!
