Our apartment is on the Venloerstraße 414 in central district of Ehrenfeld.
Believe it go away, but the apartments are very quietly in the rear of the house.
The whole Hektiik and the noise stays outside and yet it is right in town.
The old Baumbestant and the well-preserved old buildings in the backyards look like in another world. They enjoy the peace and sleep it good!

The original wood floors and high ceilings and arched windows have a special charm.

History
The house was built in 1889 by an old Cologne merchant family. In 1902 it was purchased by the family Kammerling. Since the lettering adorns the master saddler Wilhelm Kämmerling the facade. Until well after the second World War were repaired here harnesses the surrounding farmers, merchants and artisans, or re-established. The apartment "upholstery" in the range of the old saddler's workshop. The apartment Kämmerling located in the former kitchen of the family Kämmerling, burn marks from the old wood stove on the wooden floors are still visible.
