Holiday home 'Zur Schweiz' (ca. 100 m2) is located in the village Strohn, in the pretty region of Volcanic Eiffel. Strohn is a rural village with ca. 500 inhabitants. The holiday home is located in the centre of the village, and there is a play garden adjacent to the house. Fun for the kids! You can make many lovely walking and cycling trips in the Eifel. You will enjoy the many attractions on the way. The holiday home is located on the "Maare-Mosel" cycling route. Every year the town of Daun organises the "Vulkanbike-Eifel-Marathon" (early September). In the regional capital Daun you can visit the "Forum Daun" and attend various concerts, theatres and cabaret shows, all year round. There is also a wide array of cosy restaurants with delicious regional cuisine, cafes and typical German "Biergärten". Or you could visit the pretty cities Cochem/Mosel, Trier (oldest city of Germany) or Koblenz (where the Rhine and the Moselle meet), which are easily accessible. In short, enjoy a lovely holiday in the Volcanic Eifel, a pretty region with many possibilities!
