This 5.000 sq. ft. full log mountain retreat was built in 2000 and sits on a ridge overlooking the San Juan River about 6 miles east of town toward Wolf Creek Ski Area. This home is a perfect retreat as it's on 2 acres and has gorgeous views of the river below and mountains in the distance. The house has two levels. Located on the main level is a large kitchen, dining room, living room with huge picture windows, a master bedroom with a private full bath and jetted tub and a shared half bathroom. The upstairs master bedroom and living room open up to a back deck overlooking the river and mountains. The Kitchen opens up to a small back deck with a tall round table and 2 chairs.

Located on the downstairs level there are 2 guest bedrooms with a shared full bathroom, a second master suite with a private full bathroom and jetted tub that opens up to the lower level patio, a huge family room that also opens up to the outdoor patio and a spacious laundry room. Each floor has a rock gas-burning fireplace. The upstairs master bedroom has a log king bed, Bedroom #2 (the second master suite) downstairs has a log king bed, Bedroom #3 downstairs has a log queen bed and Bedroom #4 downstairs has a queen bed and a set of bunk beds. There is also a single futon chair in the family room. In the large kitchen area upstairs, there is a large dining table with 6 chairs and also another smaller table with 4 chairs. The kitchen has 2 sinks and a double oven. There is a TV in the family room downstairs with a DVD and VCR and another TV in the bedroom with bunks that has a VCR for movies only.
