The glass doors lead from your bedroom into your secluded courtyard with a “weeping wall fountain.” Beautiful dreams are inevitable while Casita Opal envelopes you in this peaceful atmosphere!

The ground-floor exterior patio (adjacent to the living area), brings ample sunlight into the Casita, but its huge Mesquite tree also offers shade from the mid-day sun. The natural warmth of the sun keep interior temperatures quite pleasant, even in winter. The fireplace keeps the home toasty on those cooler mornings and evenings. As temperatures rise in late winter and spring, the thick walls and courtyard keep the Casita cool and comfortable.

Your (private) rooftop loggia is a tree-top perch living room with a spectacular view of the Historic Centro. Relax on the loggia to the sound of the church bells tolling and splashing fountains, while watching hummingbirds flit from flower to flower. Its a wonderful place to sunbathe, read a good book or sip a Margarita in the evening while admiring the sunset in the perfect climate. An added feature of the rooftop loggia is the newly built wet-bar with refrigerator.

Opal offers a spacious terrace, stone floors, antiques, ample work space (office desk), luxury bath/bed linens, down pillows/comforter, a hair dryer, (two) guests bathrobes, decorative sculptures by local artisans, along with other desired amenities required by today’s sophisticated traveler.

FAMILY REUNIONS and LARGE GROUPS: For large family vacations or reunions the Jewels (Topaz, Ruby and Opal) may be rented together or separately.

HOUSEKEEPER and GARDENER: The Gardener and Housekeeper cleans each Casita once a week and will do light laundry along with your bed linens.
