Hello! If you want to have all facilities at your disposal and enjoy the calm while staying close to the city center; “Au Pied des Remparts 1” is an excellent choice!     The apartment Ideal for 2 persons, it can however receive up to 4 persons thanks to its bedroom decorated in a modern way (1 double bed) and its big sofa bed. The luminous living room painted in warm colors overlooks the large kitchen (hyper-equipped) and dining room via a bar built in the wall. The apartment has a washing machine as well as a tumble-drier and a bathroom with tub to grant you the comfort of your own home. A working space was done up to the right of the entrance and before arriving into the nice private garden which includes a terrace with garden furniture. The bedding and the towels are furnished. Unlimited coffee and tea!  The accommodation is overhung by the rue des Remparts, a ravishingly small pedestrian alley unknown of the general public. The charm of the house is due to the fact it is leant on the old bulwarks of the city which protect it from the cold winds of the north. This location is at the origin of exceptional vegetation (palm, olive tree, grape vine). On the top floors you will find the duplex apartment “Au Pied des Remparts 2”.   Access  The apartment is on the ground floor of a house leant on the bulwarks of the city. We get through to the house by a small path.     The neighborhood  The apartment is close to Sainte-Marguerite and Saint-Séverin. Historically, it was in these districts that the main entrance of the city was located and many bulwarks are still visible there. At 50 meters from the house you will find the rue Sainte-Marguerite and its melting pot of cultures which boasts various little shops, snack bars and restaurants. The quarter has been undergoing a big revamp, with many lovely houses and their frontages being renovated in recent years.  It will only take you 10 minutes to go downtown, to reach the Saint-Lambert Place and its shopping center, to shop in the Ilôt Saint-Michel (with its low-cost fitness gym and Delhaize supermarket) and to sit in the Market Place, famous for its terraces and restaurants.  We can guarantee you that you will be a stones throw away from all the action and that it’s hard to get bored.  For the cultural lovers, the Sauvenière movie theater and the Opera are 10 minutes away.  And, to top it all, you can enjoy a luxurious dinner in the Crown Plaza restaurant, 5 stars hotel, only 5 minutes away from the studio.      Travel facilities How to access the accommodation: By bus: the bus stop “Hocheporte” is 3 minutes’ walk and 2 stops (3 min) away from the Saint-Lambert Place (hub for public transport network). By train: the studio is less than 10 minutes’ walk away from the Liège-Palais train station. By car: the apartment is 2 minutes away from the motorway (exit 33 of the E25) and it is easy to find a parking space.  Welcoming The owner will wait for you at the apartment.
