Hi! Safe and quiet neighborhood, gated community with security. Easy to navigate. Walking distance from universities, restaurants, markets, banks, bars & several bus stops. 15min bus ride to downtown San Jose. Spacious home with patio. LGBTQ Friendly. 

The bedroom is a clean and comfortable private space with your own bathroom/ shower located on the 1st floor of the home.

The room has a full size bed, television, night table as well as a large walk in closet perfect for extended stays.

A door separates your room/bathroom area from rest of the house so you will have lots of privacy.


Guest Access

You have access to all common areas. We have a large living room, TV/ Projector area, kitchen, and dinning room. We also have a relaxing beautiful terrace/lounge area on the second floor with a comfy hammock that overlooks our indoor patio area.

Our terrace is a guest fave as it's the best area to relax, drink coffee, read, hang out, work or simply wake up and listen to the birds chirping in the morning.

Keys: Come and go as you please :)

Interaction with Guests

Myself and my roomie (La Colocha) are here to help! We are both explorers and constantly traveling through out the country so can assist you with any questions you have about getting around.

If our plans coincide you can even join us on an adventure!

We both work/study and are in/ & out during the week but are pretty flexible and will always be around to hang.

The Neighborhood

Our home is centrally located in San Pedro at the verge of Sabanilla, Vargas Araya and central San Pedro providing you quick access to all these.

The exact location is Sabanilla, a very quiet and safe middle class residential area. Close enough to all major city amenities without all the noise. 25mts from our gate is one of the bus stops that go to downtown San Jose.

Nearby you will find supermarkets, San Pedro Mall & Outlet Mall, coffee shops, hardware store, walk-in clinic, restaurants, gym, parks, bike shop, hair salons, bars, banks +

On Sunday's, there is a small farmers market in Vargas (2min walk) . Here you will find fresh produce from all over the country. This is a traditional fair and many Costa Ricans spend their Saturday morning shopping and enjoying typical food and beverages.

We usually attend the farmer's market in Zapote (15min bus ride) on Sunday's and always take our house guests with, it's a large market with loads of fresh produce as well as artisan sales. You are welcome to join us!

There are various parks in the area for a nice stroll during the day.
