The building dates back to late 13th century, when Danes ruled over Estonia. It was recently restored and renovated to meet modern standards. With ceilings 4m high and walls 1,5m thick, the building is a true Medieval gem.

The upper part, Toompea, is known as the more quiet, cultural and picturesque part of Tallinn Old Town.
It's a great place to stay, being just between the buzzing lower Old Town and the new hip and upcoming neighbourhood Kalamaja. Both being only a 5 minute walk away.
With no doubt, staying in this location, everything is within walking distance.
However, buses, trolleybuses, and trams run just a couple hundred metres away from the house.
