The building was constructed in 1871, in the decade 1940/1950 was frequented by the heigh class of Santiago, now a day is more cosmopolitan, in the first floor you can find typical Chilean fast food, like completos ( hot dog with different ingredients), chorrillanas ( french-fries, with onion eggs and meat), pizzas and sandwiches.
In the midle of the historic downtown, restaurants, museums, fresh markets and design store, metro station in less than 150 feet (Plaza de Armas station).
