When Thomas Macqueen wrote a letter to the Crown Solicitor in 1837 describing the Inn, it included ….. “five bedrooms and two dormitories for male and female servants above”. The Upstairs Maids named in honour of those servants who worked on the estate is a very pretty and “girlie” room favoured by bridesmaids staying at the Inn or single ladies travelling together.
This very pretty twin bed room is beautifully furnished with luxurious linen and with the ambience of the gracious old world. Where history, luxury and fine dining combine.
Every need is catered for, including robes and slippers in your room with refreshments available 24 hours a day.The accommodation has reverse cycle air conditioning for your comfort and a number of wood burning fires add to the ambience.
