Royal Suite, State of Grace

The Royal Suite State of Grace is a vast suite perfectly suited for

honeymooners and other special occasions. State of Grace has its own

independent staircase and entrance hall. Its private Italian-style “Juliet”

balcony looks over the gently flowing petal-filled fountain of the Dar Jaguar

courtyard and across to the breathtaking Syrian chandelier in the

open salon. A king size four poster bed has been especially

commissioned for this suite, as have the opulent jewel coloured silk

velvet curtains and cushions that adorn it.

For romantic winter nights, there is a beautiful fireplace at the center of

the end wall, surrounded by original hand-carved plasterwork. Four state

carver chairs – two Victorian leather and two gilt and turquoise silk art

deco - sit proudly on the Georgian black and white floor tiling. The sculpted

plasterwork framing the entire suite is over three hundred years old and magnificent in its detail and

intricacy. These historic features are subtly lit by a magnificent 1800s French crystal chandelier.
