Very nice holiday home near the village of Vitry-aux-Loges. A lovely landscaped garden with lanterns, shrubs, flower beds, trees, playground and a nice outdoor shower to use during hot days, will increase your holiday feeling thoroughly. From your terrace with furniture, reclining chairs and barbecue, you have a view of the meadows. You'll occasionally get to see deer along the forest edge. Bakery, weekly market, tennis court and grocery shop are located in Vitry-aux-Loges (1km). Orleans, the city of Joan of Arc's victory, has many attractions; the cathedral, the old town facades, the beautiful art museum; not to mention the beautiful parks and gardens. Driving along the Loire, you cannot miss the castles. The château de Chamerolles with its beautiful gardens and perfume museum (27km) should also not be missing from your to do list. The Basilica of St. Benoît-sur-Loire (18km) is one of the most famous Romanesque buildings in the region. A lovely swimming lake with beach can be found at Combreux (2km). Here you can also surf, sail and rent pedal boats. In Chateauneuf-sur-Loire you can rent a canoe for the more wild 'water stuff'. It's great hiking in the forests of Orléans (1km).
