For a holiday in chalet no. 11 in the “Parc des trois Frontières” (Three Frontiers Park): it is situated on a hill beside the forest (200m) linking Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The meeting point: The “Drielandenpunt” (the Three Markers) is 3 km away. There are some beautiful walks in the forests and surrounding meadows. The Hautes Fagnes plateau is only a few kilometres away. The village of Gemmenich is 1 km away. It is a very quite location. In winter, the wood burning stove with its store of logs is the heart of the house. In summer, there is a large terrace to welcome holiday makers. In autumn, the different colours of the forest trees are fascinating. Situated between Maastricht, Liège and Aix-La-Chapelle: it is extremely easy to get to these towns: either by car, or by coach from Gemmenich (Timetables are available at the chalet). If you don’t have a car, the owner of the chalet will meet you on arrival and take you on departure (coach: 396 Vaals – Eupen or coach 710 Eupen-Welkenraedt-Kelmis. The stop is in Gemmenich). 2 mountain bikes are available for you to use.
