Detached holiday home with private pool. The living area is on one level, the pool is accessed via a wide staircase or through the sloping garden. From the large covered terrace, you can look out over the sea and the coastal town of Torrox Costa. You also have this fantastic view from the sun-drenched lawn surrounding the private pool lower down, with beautiful outdoor shower and lovely fountain. Torrox Pueblo (1 km) is a quiet village, completely painted white which is typical for Andalusia. Good to know is that in early August a traditional folk dance festival is held there; folk dances accompanied by choirs from home and abroad. Torrox Costa (4.5 km) is on the coast and is more touristy. The nearest beach is situated here. The long promenade begins (or ends) at the lighthouse with some Roman ruins next to it. A little further along the coast, in El Penoncillo, the beach is lined with typical 'chiringuitos' (beach bars) serving delicious sardines. Cozs Nerja is 12 km away, and the charming Malaga is 46 km.
