The surrounding landscape has many trails that are known as dream routes (Traumschleifen), which are generally well indicated. Apart from walking, you can easily visit the Mosel from here (12 km). The Mosel is known for its Riesling wine that can often be bought directly from winegrowers in the historical picturesque villages.
