Apartment on the topfloor of a lovely situated country house on a beautiful farm (quinta) with 3 hectares of agriculture land and fruit trees . 
It takes a 15 minute drive to Lagos Meia Praia beach, 
10 minute drive to the Luz beach. 
10 minute walk to the village Barao de Sao Joao.

The house has been completely renovated in 2011. It has its own entrance,(no elevator) 2 bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, a kitchen fully equipped with a large fridge, washingmachine, oven and gascooker. 
The living room, what we call the gardenroom, is a cosy place with an always sunny balcony with a beautiful view on the fields and the village. 
During your stay, you may enjoy all the rural tranquillity and privacy, profiting from shady garden under the corktrees. 
But don’t be surprised if you bump into the resident family, going to the vegetable garden, or meet me, the felter artisan in the Studio.We are the ones who give a daily life to the space. If you like you can join a paintingclass or have a feltingworkshop in the Studio..

The house is located in a very calm area and has a privileged location, since it’s a few kilometres away from the historical and colourful city of Lagos,with all kinds of little restaurants, bars,shops and lovely icesaloons..Ofcourse you have to visit the fishmarket and the farmersmarket on saterday.Or you can book a trip on a boat to see dolphins, caves.Lagos has the longest sandie beach of the Algarve with lots of beachpavilions where they serve shrimps in garlic with a cool Vinha Verde.. The house is also very close to Luz a somewhat English village with a beautiful small beach and nice terraces.

In Barão de São João you can find a post office, multibanco, some nice little groceries to buy fresh bread and terraces to drink your morning coffee or have a nice simple dinner at night. There is also a Pizzeria run by Olimpia, a real Italian lady. 
In the weekend you will always find some live music in one of the three bars.The village harbours some very nice artists like painters,sculptors,and jewellerymakers, who have their atelier there.. And of course the elderly women who make their beautiful crochet and embroidery work.

This area also attracts a lot trekking lovers. We may provide you some maps with suggestions of walks along the coast or orange orchards. 
Its worth to visit the mediterranean ambiance of the south coast beaches in Burgau or Salema with their colourfull fishermans boats. 
The west coast beaches will surprise you with her pureness and wildness and and imposing cliffs. Here is the perfect place to find a surfing class experience.

Additional fee for one guest is 10 euro per night over 2 persons. 
Prices are negotiable in the low season, after 15 september.
