The house is the first home to be built on the estuary and is set on the site of a former shipyard, boasting modern amenities and all the comforts of home. This property features access to an 800sqm private garden with a swimming pool - enjoy stunning views of the Gironde during your morning swim. The heated pool is shared with the owner (who uses it very little and can organise times with guests). The furnished terrace invites you to barbecue on balmy nights, and deckchairs are provided for you to make the most of the Aquitaine sun. Inside, you’ll find a spacious lounge with a sofa, fireplace, a flat-screen TV with a DVD-player, a HiFi system and games to keep everyone entertained. The residence is decorated with artworks for sale, and a bottle of wine will be offered as a gift on arrival (choice of red, white or sparkling burgundy). On request, your first breakfast can be prepared by the owner at a small fee. The owner lives next door and is happy share a drink or tips on the region with guests, and can help out in case of any problems. The open and fully-equipped kitchen invites you to prepare a feast for the family. Avail of amenities including a fridge, freezer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and more, and enjoy your feast around the inside or outside dining tables, both seating 6. The three bedrooms all have beds measuring 2 metres in length – two twin bedrooms and one double adapted for wheelchair users, boasting an ensuite bathroom. A baby cot is available on request and the family bathroom has a bathtub/ shower combination, and there is a separate WC. A washing machine, dryer and ironing facilities are provided and end cleaning, linen and towels are included in the rent. The pool measures 7 x 3.5 metres, is available in spring and summer and protected by an alarm - use by children is the responsibility of adult guests, not the owner. A small tourist tax apply to pay on site. Smoking allowed outside only and pets are welcome. Private parking for 2 cars is available on site.
