Long ago, a rail line ran through the hamlet of Bauche. The remains of the tracks are still there, though trains stopped running on them a long time ago. The buildings that once served as the station and depot were also decommissioned, but fortunately they have been preserved.

Inside, it naturally underwent a major renovation to transform it from a depot into a residence. And it was a successful renovation, because the home now has everything to meet the modern holidaymaker's needs, whether for a weekend or for a longer stay. Bauche is just a small hamlet, so you have plenty of peace and quiet here. You can go hiking and cycling directly from the accommodation. The Meuse, which passes about 2 kilometres from the home, is good for kayaking and other activities. The beautiful town of Dinant is a half-hour drive away.
