Newly remodeled, this studio is decorated tastefully and has new furniture. Third floor, ocean view, private balcony.
That spectacular view and this king studio is also located in walking distance of restaurants, specialty shops, horse rentals for rides on beach, go-kart track and rentals and track nearby. Also a miniature golf course, modern arcade with tons of games and prizes to enjoy a short walk away!
You'll want to also visit local attractions such as the "Discovery Trail and Boardwalk" visible from the balcony and it stretches for miles! Also Ilwaco's Marina restaurants, shops and boat rentals beckon.
Nearby also is Cranberry Museum and Bogs, Willapa Bay Interpretive Center, and many other special treats.
In May, there will be the Halibut/Sturgeon season in Ilwaco, Loyalty Days, the 63rd annual one, in Long Beach, which will be marked with parades and many related events.
The World Kite Museum and Hall of Fame is here, as well as the week long "International Kite Festival" in August. It's great fun being in Long Beach when it celebrates a holiday, Christmas, New Years, 4th of July and so on!
Imagine you waking from your comfortable king bed, drinking a cup of coffee on the balcony, as you gaze out at the breath taking view of the ocean, beach and boardwalk.
In addition to a king size bed, the futon (sleeps 1). There is cable/HDTV/DVD/Blue-ray, kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, stove. All dishes, utensils, pots and pans needed are also supplied. Linens, towels and soap. Pay washer and dryer available, same floor.
About that boardwalk, recently it was featured on "Travel and Leisure" website: "On the isolated Long Beach Boardwalk, built over cool, windswept dunes in southwestern Washington, bird-watchers flock to see adorable but endangered snowy plovers in one of the few places in the world where they still nest. Parents wander with their children on paths trod by Captain William Clark in 1805, when members of the Lewis and Clark Expedition explored here. Oregon resident Bonnie Teschner Carey has been visiting Long Beach since she was a child 60 years ago: “It's still a quiet place, not trendy, not known,” she says, “just like when I was a child.” Only now it has a boardwalk, so even with two knee replacements she can still enjoy the beach."
