The Big Yellow House - Amarilla Casa Grande is a magnificent upscale 9597sq/ft home that towers over all other homes in the area. Hence the name it was given by the locals. It's a 6BR/7WR with 5 MASTER SUITES! The expansive view from every window is stunning and the sunsets over the water are breath-taking. IDEAL for XL groups, sleeps 25. This is not a suitable rental for those looking for a cheap vacation. This is for those seeking an extravagant, hedonic experience, with all the lavish bells and whistles our home provides.

This is Not a normal vacation rental. It is our dream vacation home which we rent to select clientele at our discretion. An accommodation, rare in Florida, where you have everything you could possibly imagine. A dream waterfront home. Yes there are other places, but look carefully at our value, the extreme luxury, the endless list of amenities and the spaciousness our home has to offer. No other property can compare.

Retreats and large family reunions are welcome. Groups of Snowbird looking for extravagant accommodations to share, will find our home perfect, to create a private community setting your own rules instead of a condo association's rules. It is also suited for Mind/Body restorative retreats of any kind, as our home has a very healing and soothing environment and vibration. Also suitable for casual conferences, team building, incentive trips, anniversaries, workshops, intimate sunset weddings and so much more.

There may be other houses in the area, but only The Big Yellow House - La Casa Amarilla Grande has FIVE MASTER SUITE, a massive custom bunk room, extravagant extras for your indulgence, and the rarity of expansive space in each and every room.

Our home is proudly located in an affluent neighbourhood in a prime location which allows for easy commute into the city of Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Cape Coral, Naples, Bonita Spring. We are also located close to Fort Myers Airport and Punta Gorda Airport. Our location allows us to bypassing most of the island traffic. We used to own property at the south end of the island and we endured hours of traffic just to go shopping or out for dinner. Our location is priceless during peek season and beyond when it comes to driving anywhere.

Our outdoor living spaces, gourmet kitchen & spectacular grand living room, that completely opens onto the main floor lanai, are all beyond luxurious. Viewing the pictures will only give you a taste of our home's majestic beauty and expansive grandeur.

Our welcoming front yard has a massive circular driveway with parking for 6+. throughout the property we have designed stunning landscaping, artfully accented it all with ambient lighting. The backyard is outfitted with a propane fire pit for night time gatherings. The perimeter of the property has several built-in propane tiki torches with easy ignite and shut-off.

We have proudly accented our home with some our children's artwork for which they have won several awards. For added comfort we have chosen top of the line, high end home furnishings for indoor (Tommy Bahama) and outdoor (Padma) adding pleasure to all locations of our property. We have our mansion fully automated with Control4, surround sound through Martin Logan speakers and high end A/V equipment allowing for flow of music, TV, lighting and temperature. A simple House OFF switch, Party Mode, or Night Mode, to set the mood.

We maintain weekly property management and pool maintenance. Our home security is with ADT including video monitoring. We have wireless WiFi throughout the home. AppleTV. It is our pleasure to provide a 21' iMac computer in Kitchen for all our guests.

FIRST FLOOR

GAGARE:
2 Massive, joined garages. Extra refrigerator. Direct access to elevator for ease of moving in and out as well as unloading groceries. We have grocery carts for use of loading and unloading in the elevator. Six Beach Bikes with locks. 4 Tommy Bahama Beach chairs, matching umbrella and trolly with cooler that fits underneath. WE love our early morning walks on the beach. We have a Dyson vacuum located in the garage as the central vac is not available on this level. Steam cleaners, commercial mops, brooms, dusters, garbage bins & bags, and Recycling Bin. Tools are reserved for emergency use ONLY.

EXERCISE ROOM:
Open space to dance, entertain, set up buffet tables or do Yoga. Room is adorned with tandem “Fanimation” fans.

BUNK ROOM:
3 Queen Deluxe memory foam mattresses are up in the loft. There are also 6 Double Bunks-beds. All bedding the bunk-room is from Tommy Bahama. Ideally, it is set up to sleep OLDER kids, but Plush enough for adult comfort. Fun for all! We specifically built this room to house all the teenagers that stay over on a regular basis when we are there. Our kids know many of the island kids and our home is always FULL.

WASHROOM:
Full washroom.

GAMING ROOM:
70” 3D HD TV. Playstation III. L-shaped Leather couch with 5 large fully reclining sections and a chaise lounger. Paula Dean coffee table with a raisable top for easy snacking. And the most amazing area rug made out of the back side of denim jeans shorts. So cool!

BACKYARD:
Enter though carved arbour to a tropical paradise. The outside grounds have been professionally landscaped with a lush tropical feel, including Fox palms, Coconut palms, and Queen Palms. The perimeter is fitted with propane Tiki torches and rock speakers. A built-in fire pit is easily lit for added ambiance, surrounded by four egg shaped swivel chairs. All outdoor furniture is by Padma and cushion material has all been personally selected by us. We worked tirelessly with Collins and DuPont to achieve the look and spender of every detail. Our interior decorator is Kim Collins and all interior re-construction and finishings have been designed and constructed by Dave DuPont and ACM. Rectangular outdoor dining table with 6 chairs. Circular rock table with four swivel chairs. Two full size couches with coffee table. Our Tiki Hut was designed by the Seminole Indians and is outfitted with lighting and a Keg fridge (available for use. Ask for Details) Keg fridge is built-in to our outdoor marble counter top and storage cupboards.
Our Pool offers a shallow beach area and spill-over waterfall Spa. The Spa heats up in minutes for relaxing whenever you want. Pool deck is accented with 4 adjustable, luxurious Padma cushioned Chaise loungers. Three large docks attached with a boardwalk. The docks are adorned with 6 more sun chaise loungers. Docks are fully lit including underwater snook lights to view the fish swimming under the docks. We build a fish cleaning station with the convenience of a built-in fresh water system. We also added a ladder on the middle dock. This allows for those who are adventurous to have an easy exit from the canal. Our canal is 12 feet deep in the middle. We love to dive off the pilings (or any other stunt) then floating in the canal with the manatee and dolphins.
We are on the deepest and widest canal in the FMB area. The first weekend in December, we are always excited as the Christmas boat parade travels up our canal on one side and down on the other. Beautiful!
Boat dockage can be arranged if requested. There is no lift available.

SECOND FLOOR

CHEF'S KITCHEN:
Massive kitchen with two sinks, two in-sink food waste garburators, two Subzero fridges, Plasma Innovative Cookware, Vita-Mix, Keurig, Microwave, Instant hot water, Primo water cooler, under-the-counter ice-machine, double garbage drawer, separate recycling cupboard, walk-in pantry, centre island and all the appliances and toys a chef would love.

DINING ROOM:
Dinning table seats up to 14. Specially made Yew wood table top supported by a Redwood tree trunk, imported from California. There are also 5 bar stools for added seating or casual dining around the massive open counter-top.

GREAT ROOM:
Beautiful cow hide throw rug in the centre of the room framed by two oversized reclining leather easy chairs and a huge L-shaped leather sectional couch with 4 large fully reclining sections and a chaise lounger. Crushed coconut coffee table. Beautiful Calvin Kline area rug made from cowhide. Coffered ceiling lined with Pecky Cyprus and accent LED dimming lights adorned with tandem “Fanimation” fan. All kinds of board games available. 8 pairs of 3D rechargeable glasses. 70” 3D HD TV. Playstation III. Ether fireplace. Seating for 12 comfortably. Unbeatable surround sound system. Entire corner of the room has floor to ceiling sliding doors that open fully to the second floor lanai.

SECOND FLOOR LANAI:
Built-in propane Lynx Grill, crushed coconut shell bar top with bamboo walls. Accent lighting under the bar and grill as well as spot lighting from above. (email hidden) for six. Two bistro tables with 2 bar chairs at each. Loveseat with ottoman, side table and small arm chair. Huge sofa with two side tables, two large, rocking, swivel chairs and matching marble coffee table. This lanai seats 18 comfortably. Beautiful 'Fanimation' double fan. Accent lighting with two antiqued banana leaf chandeliers accent the Pecky Cyprus ceiling. Lanai also has peakers and 46” TV.

POWDER ROOM:
Elaborately decorated with beautiful inlay framed mirror, wall scones and chandelier.

HOLLY'S ROOM:
Two Queen size beds. 46” TV. Two closets. Full En-suite.

MITCH'S ROOM:
Two Queen size beds. 46” TV. Large walk-in closet. Toilet Room. Jet-tub. Separate shower. Double sink. Huge washroom. We use this for the over-flow for the guests on the first floor.

LAUNDRY ROOM:
Huge! Top-of-the-line washer and dryer. Laundry tub. Beach towels. Bathroom towels. Mexican blankets. Fleece throw blankets. Extra knitted blankets. Iron and ironing boards. Central Vac and Steam Floor Cleaner.

THIRD FLOOR

MASTER BEDROOM:

SARAH'S BEDROOM:

THIRD FLOOR LANAI:
Covered area furnished with circular lounger with throw pillows. Two large swivel chairs with ottoman, Speakers, Lighting, and Fan. Open area furnished with four reclining sun loungers with side tables. Love sofa and small arm chair set with side tables and ottoman perfect for watching the sunrise with a cup of Java. Beautiful soaring vistas of canal waters on both sides. Breathtaking sunsets.

 Most mornings we watch the dolphins fishing and the manatee slowly rising and swirling. At night the snook lights create a beautiful scene with school of fish circling and darting in and out.

Our Neighbour to the north side is a Merchant Ship Marine Captain and travels for months at a time. We saw him for one day over Christmas and he's off again for another 4 months. The house on the south side is now empty. The owner sometimes brings his 5 grandkids to visit. The boat slips are rented out and are used regularly. These boaters are fun and always friendly. Directly across the street in front, is a full time resident Tony and his adult son, Greg. They have a construction company and build high end homes. Any urgent question they may be able to help you. Our Homeowner's Association President lives two houses to the south and can help out in times of need as well.

The guests have access to everything except the closets in the Master bedroom. This is where we store our personal items

Interaction will be based on guest's request. WE may need access to the locked closet for personal belonging. The garage for boating and fishing gear. The docks for access to our boat and Personal Water Crafts

We love that it is very rare that our neighbours are home. The one to the south of us is a Merchant Marine Captain and the one to the north is not well and in assisted living. His brother maintains the property weekly and he rents out his three boat lifts. We hear them once in a while lowering the lift. His daughter comes by with his grandchildren to spend the weekend every once in a while.

We typically walk, ride our bikes, or take the Trolley to travel to the beach, which is less than 2 miles away. The trolley stop is at the corner, in front of the Beach Pottery. Taxis are cheap and quick. We prefer Paradise Beach Taxi (phone number hidden). They know us as the Canadians in the big yellow house on Cutlass Drive. We suggest dining and entertainment on the north end of the island. If you wish to go shopping there are several options. Gulf Coast, Coconut Point, Tangers, Edison Mall, Bell Towers, Costco, etc.
