You will also find a lovely natural pond in a valley on the estate. The adjacent Provencal village, Bormes-les-Mimosas, has a lovely ambience with its charming cafes, its 16th-century chapel and the 13th-century castle set on a hill that rises above the village. Outside the village you can also go on some lovely walks and enjoy the area's colourful flora. Or take daytrips to Porquerolles and Port-Cros off the coast of Hyères, or to the lovely port cities of Toulon and Marseille. The Côte d'Azur coast at Pradet and Hyères is about 30 minutes away. There are plenty of options for a day at the beach. Within a 50 km radius you will find some lovely beach resorts, such as Bandol, Sanary, Saint-Tropez and Le Lavandou.
