This is a cute and cozy bungalow at the back of a private home, just half a block from the beach and a short walk from the shops and restaurants of St Armands Circle.
Location location location! Just steps from the Lido Beach Pavilion, the beach and the wonderful vibe of St Armand's Circle. This charming, cypress-clad, free-standing bungalow is at the back of a private house that belongs to my neighbor, in fact. Newly renovated with tile floors it has it's own small kitchen, bathroom with shower, a bright living room with comfy seating and large flat-screened TV, a sweet bedroom with a queen sized bed and writing desk. There is a lovely spacious and private outdoor area with a barbecue grill, lounge chairs, outdoor shower and a washer/dryer. There is also wireless internet available.
There is a great bus service with a stop at the end of the street that takes you to Main street and the center of time.
Ah… Lido… such a paradise. Close to downtown, yet it's own little world by the water. Such a sweet, slow, quiet community of people who live here all year round and then an interesting influx of tourists who visit during high season makes for a perfect balance. Very casual ( barefoot to the beach with morning coffee ), beaches are fairly empty during the weekdays but busy at the weekend with Sunday erupting into a great one man band party with regulars dancing, eating lobster rolls and drinking beer and wine coolers. Sunsets are spectacular.Amenities
